I really enjoyed Larry Clark's controversial "Kiss the Past Hello" expo at the Musée d'Art Moderne in Paris. So much so that I took this video to show you a couple of the photos. I felt that it was important to keep an open mind when I was walking through rooms full of semi-to-full-on-pornographic imagery. Nudity doesn't bother me at all, on the contrary I find it to be beautiful when presented in the right metaphorical and sometimes literal light, but some of the photos taken by Larry Clark were downright disturbing - a pregnant woman injecting herself with heroin being one of those examples. Then again, the whole point seemed to be about how far he can take his lens, which buttons he can push and how many fires he can spark through a showing of some very tough realities. Enjoy!
