Inked

Ink Study 1 from brainflakes on Vimeo - incredibly hypnotizing - set to "Subtle Body" by Fila Brazillia and shot with a Panasonic GH1. DOPE!

Sølve Sundsbø x Numéro #113

Sølve Sundsbø photographed Dree Hemingway for the May 2010 issue of Numéro
and it is highly reminiscent of that Alexander McQueen pattern I posted about a couple weeks ago.
The photos are beautiful - the smoke almost looks like paint when it has been poured into water.

Smokey is what smokey does

This is a print I have always been a fan of; it's so ingeniously dark, sexy and flirtatious. Alexander McQueen was truly mind-boggling.

I love prints that allow the product to be unique in it's own way - by this I mean that each piece is able to be somewhat one of a kind because no two smokey patterns can be the same. Not only did he create some very special designs, but the patterns leave room for the consumer's comfort in knowing they own something that is virtually inimitable.

Now that's exceptional talent!
