DoCoMo
AWESOME. Way to go Drill, Inc! An incredibly intricate, xylophone-like version of Bach's Cantata 147 promoting Japanese telephone company DoCoMo's new wooden cell. Amazing.

FIAC 2010 x Tony Cragg

This was one of my absolute favorites at the FIAC this year. Tony Cragg is a genius! An incredibly well pre-planned sculpture made of wood that portrays different profiles when looked at from different angles. I absolutely loved the look and feel of this peice. Intricate and yet so subtle.

Jeremy Scott x ObyO

The new tuxedo shoes by Jeremy Scott for Adidas' Originals by Originals. True to Mr. Scott's sassy and oftentimes crude sense of humour, these shoes rock.
Also, I've taken the liberty of posting a couple pictures of Mr. Scott's SS2011 show. Amazing and quite ballsy, if you ask me!

Skypark

This is the Marina Bay Sands Skypark in Singapore. It is insane! Tremendous heights complete with an incredible pool and gorgeous views. The rooftop alone is 380 meters long, spanning across three skyscrapers. The complex was designed by architect Moshe Safdie and cost about 80 million to construct. Think about this: it takes 20 minutes minimum to walk across the entire structure and it can hold up to 3 900 people at once. Amazing!
Via Mosaic.

Steampunk

I'm aware that I'm a little tardy for the party on this one, but I just must say how much I adore these Alexander McQueen 2010 "steampunk" heels. The industrial metal adornments play with the either super tough or super girly parts of the shoe, making for perhaps the only actually wearable footwear of the Spring 2010 collection. (Click the link to see the other crazy creations for your feet). I especially like the ballerina ones at the bottom of this post. Tres good girl gone bad - these would've been perfect for a character in the Fifth Element or something - futuristic yet current. Love it!
