Beyond. Holton Rower is an American artist who (clearly) juxtaposes sculpture and paint to create these colorful, psychedelic works of art. I'm happy and somehow sad that it was all captured on video - sometimes it's fun to imagine just how the piece was created. Then again, the video is trip-y and wonderful. Dope!

Light Graffiti
Jane Parviainen is a Finnish artist who specializes in light painting, the art of prolonged-exposure photography. Basically the shutter of the camera stays open for much longer than a regular photo in order to capture movement (in this case, a light source) intended to create specific shapes. I remember it being very difficult to create a light-car around a friend. Hence, why these are so impressive. The neon colors don't hurt, either. Dope!

From fruits to landscapes to celestial to geometric, spring 2011 is going to be quite the expressive season. I personally love the Carven prints, which range from colorful planetary interpretations to classic black and white architectural structures. Flattering, funky and fun. Wonderful!
