Marius Roosendaal

Please allow me to bring your attention to the work of Marius Roosendaal, incredible graphic designer from the Netherlands. So incredible, in fact, that it was extremely difficult for me to choose my favorites from his website. I am particularly infatuated with "Cosmology" (above). Check them all out!

Light Graffiti

Jane Parviainen is a Finnish artist who specializes in light painting, the art of prolonged-exposure photography. Basically the shutter of the camera stays open for much longer than a regular photo in order to capture movement (in this case, a light source) intended to create specific shapes. I remember it being very difficult to create a light-car around a friend. Hence, why these are so impressive. The neon colors don't hurt, either. Dope!

Paul Alexander Thornton

Amazing stop motion of Paul Alexander Thornton drawing a Sugar Skull using only a red and black ball point pen. I highly recommend you watch the whole thing (rather than simply skipping to the finished product) because the process is most impressive!

P.S. Geh Deutschland!

Frank Gehry

This is the recently opened Lou Rouvo Center for Brain Health designed by the great Frank Gehry - architecturally intricate in the signature Gehry stainless steel. Absolutely phenomenal.
