ZSO x Sara Blake

Check out these incredible paintings by ZSO - and that's not all ! there are plenty more HERE. There's a very pleasant balance between the realism of the portraits and the effects created by the colors and imaginative add-ons such as paint drips and notes of neon lights. Very cool!

Baby I'm Yours

This is the incredible video for "Baby I'm Yours (feat. Irfane)" by Breakbot, produced by Ed Banger Records, one of my all-time favorite labels. Apparently (a.k.a. according to the great Busy P a.k.a Pedro Winter a.k.a owner of Ed Banger Records) it took artist Irina Dakeva four months and approximately 2000 images water color painted one after the other to create the video. DOPE!

Tomek Sadurski

Ever since that post about the Defragmentation of Beauty in 25 Magazine, I've been looking up Tomek Sadurski's work. I'm obsessed with his sketches - they're gorgeous illustrations created using thick black lines and slight touches of watercolor. Always feminine, but never obnoxiously so - tres chic.

25

"Defragmentation of Beauty" photo shoot - Spring 2010 as interpreted artistically by 25 Magazine. The half graphic, half photographic images feature such names such as Abbey Lee, Anja Rubik, Karlie Kloss and Karmen Pedaru. The swift charcoal lines mixed with wind-blown watercolors and strict geometrical shapes create and imbalanced balance, which I love - cleverly creative but not overdone.
