Gorgeous jewelry from the September issue's "Black Fire White Ice" spread - I'm loving the scorpion around Ashley's arm. The photos were shot by John Akehurst and styled by Carmen Borgonova. Fab!
Sweet retro style illustrations by MaxMidia that illustrate the incredible advances in social media and information technologies that we've created, integrated and updated into our generation. Sweet!
Joseph Egan and Hunter Thomson, students at the Chelsea School of Art and Design, created this series of incredible exhibit of anamorphic typography - type that is only wholly comprehensible from a single, very specific point of view. I've seen other examples before, but I really enjoy the particular textual ideas of this one, which are much more direct and in-your-face. Be sure to check the video below. Very cool!
Song of the day: Inna - Amazing (I know, it's a liiiiiittle bit euro-tech)
This is the editorial from Harper's Bazaar Australia's September 2010 issue featuring loads of embellishments, trinkets and details... oh my! I actually thought Tallulah was Karlie Kloss for a second! The shoot is gorgeous either way and I love the contrast between the soft beach and hardwear as well as sparkly jewel tones with leather. Love!
She is so beyond incredible. Although she wasn't my favorite Spice Girl (Emma rocked my world in the late 90s), she's always been the most stylish and this spread is certainly no different. Glam and rock and a whole lot of sassitude (I'm inventing words here, bear with me), Victoria Beckham tears it up. Shot by Ellen Von Unwerth.
