Nick Lepard

This is exactly the kind of brush stroke I like most. These thick yet identifiable blends of color were created by Vancouver-native Nick Lepard and certainly float my boat. They remind me of a café-bar I used to frequent in NYC called L'Orange Bleue - where giant paintings of both patrons and owners hung on the walls in homage of good times. Love!

I'm loving this campain for Dreft by Leo Burnett that brings the idea of timeless fashion to life. I completely agree that some of the best pieces of clothing we own can be found in our past. (My personal favorites being my mother's old blazers from the 70s found in our attic). LOVE!

Visionnaire magazine (in collaboration with such names as Nick Knight, Steven Klein, Mario Sorrenti, Steven Meisel, Mario Testino, Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, Lady Gaga...) has now created an incredible collection of images and such immortalizing the late Alexander McQueen. However only 50 copies have been created and go for $1500 each. Insane in the membrane. Available at Colette.
