Kate Moss x Vogue Paris May 2011

What fabulous styling on Kate Moss by Vogue Paris' editor-in-chief Emmanuelle Alt! Photographed by Mert & Marcus, this editorial features bold backdrops and complementary-colored haute couture by such names as Atelier Versace, Armani Prive, Valentino Haute Couture, Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci and my favorite asymmetrical iridescent gown (first, below) by Maison Martin Margiela Artisanal. The Julien Fournier couture bodysuit also plays up the spread's title "Couture Limits" with its limitless planetary rings and scintillating color blocking (not to mention an amazing Gorgio Armani Privé crystal mask!).

Givenchy Couture Fall 2010

Givenchy's Fall 2010 collection, the phenomenal creation of Riccardo Tisci is beautifully ornate and somehow reminiscent of McQueen's last collection with the gold hues and lavish materials. The details on each piece is incredibly remarkable and shows extreme craftsmanship - beading, feathering, lacing - each adornment is striking to say the least. There's a sense of the ethereal in this collection as well as a hidden touch of the diabolical (look closely and you'll find skeletal shapes). Gorgeous!
