Randy Cooper

These mesh sculptures caught my eye. Found at the Art Symbol Gallery, across the street from Place des Vosges in Paris' Le Marais. Created by Randy Cooper, the shadow sculptures seem to be a conscious and subconscious play on light and image. Wonderful.

M.U.R. de l'art 28.10.2010

Uriel Goldberg

M.U.R. (Modulable, Urbain et Réactif) is celebrating its third anniversary with this graffiti show this weekend in Paris' le Marais. Quite the fan, I went to the opening last night (free drink, sponsored by Malibu, included is always a good thing) at the Blancs Manteaux. Live DJ plus huge hangar-like space and all sorts of graffiti equals dope.

The event, which will run this weekend only, features 80 artists. Enjoy the pics!

Azzedine Alaia x Rive Gauche Rive Droite

Today I invite you on a virtual tour of the Alaia gallery opening that happened a couple weeks ago. 27 artists and 6 different expo locales made up Paris' "Rive Gauche Rive Droite" events between the 9th and the 25th of September. A fan of Alaia's clothing, I opted for the event in the trendy "Marais" of Paris. The exposed works were varied in style and dimension, making for quite the creative evening (photos were taken during the day because there were far too many people at the actual opening). Fab!
