DIY KIINI BIKINI pt 1
UPDATE: GO TO PART 2 and PART 3!
As you may or may not have noticed over the past few seasons, the Kiini swimwear line is très à la mode.
http://kiini.com/collections/be-kiini
It's bright and bold and sexy all at the same time. Also, it has a very handmade feel to it - probably because they are all actually handmade with beautiful crochet work, elastic and high tech swimming fabrics. Which is why this is the perfect DIY project. Albeit a bit difficult, but that's what amazing moms who know how to crochet are for, right? ;)
BOUGHT:
- 5 different color elastic bands (about 1cm thickness)
- 5 different color cotton crocheting thread
- 1 piece of stretchy swimwear-esque fabric (I used nylon)

STEP 2: Cut out the triangles and bikini bottom shape out of a bathing suit that fits:
STEP 3: Decide what colors will go where (crochet vs elastics):
Make sure to leave enough space for the first row of crocheting (1cm).
STEP 4: First tests with crochet (THANKS MOM!):

Mixing It Up/ Celebrity Edition
I'm teaching myself photoshop. What better way to have constant projects than by mixing faces and names together via the glorious world of Hollywood?
