Cliché - by Cédric Villain
Cute video that accompanies a funny website dedicated to stereotypes of French people. French-American myself, I found the video to be hilarious but slightly long. Alas, the French are known to take their time!

MONCLER GRENOBLE FW 11-12 AT GRAND CENTRAL a flash mob in honor of NYC fashion week in the amazing Grand Central terminal to promote their winter 2011-2012 collection. (Slightly long) choreography inspired by the great Bob Fosse. Fair isle winter fun!

MTV Hits by Julien Vallée is a DOPE clip for MTV Australia. The concept is familiar - you know, random images screened along with a funky song to promote the channel. I always wondered how they were created, and now I do. Sweet!

This incredible video by bckcntry (featuring the song "Who Knows, Who" by Local Natives) is a compilation of the sickest snowboarding moves. Personally, they made my stomach twist in the most envious of ways. Amazing.

Beyond. Holton Rower is an American artist who (clearly) juxtaposes sculpture and paint to create these colorful, psychedelic works of art. I'm happy and somehow sad that it was all captured on video - sometimes it's fun to imagine just how the piece was created. Then again, the video is trip-y and wonderful. Dope!

Check out the brand new video for Cee Lo Green's "Bodies" directed, cut and shaped by the one and only Mikael Colombu. Amazing song, amazing graphics, amazing video! DOPE!

I love this spot for Louis Vuitton's men's S/S 2011 line. It features Scott Campbell as the everyman who has a fabulous apartment, clothes and overall lifestyle.

Jane Parviainen is a Finnish artist who specializes in light painting, the art of prolonged-exposure photography. Basically the shutter of the camera stays open for much longer than a regular photo in order to capture movement (in this case, a light source) intended to create specific shapes. I remember it being very difficult to create a light-car around a friend. Hence, why these are so impressive. The neon colors don't hurt, either. Dope!

Trend-spotting: Prints. Bold, in-your-face eye-catchers for your apparel. (Remember the McQueen smoke print?) From fruits to landscapes to celestial to geometric, spring 2011 is going to be quite the expressive season. I personally love the Carven prints, which range from colorful planetary interpretations to classic black and white architectural structures. Flattering, funky and fun. Wonderful!

Here is a creative video by one of my favorite labels EdBanger Records. Cassius' "I Love You" even features the label's founder Busy P aka Pedro Winter (towards the end). Great use of the Iphone to advertise the app. Pick-a-mouth style. Dope!
